2011-2012 SCVC Los Cab 14 & Under Club Program

SCVC Los Cab can provide any volleyball program to fit your need.
We understand that everyone has different time and/or financial commitments.
Below are descriptions of what we have to offer. For our Travel Teams and Non-Travel Club Teams, tryouts are in early October for 14 & Under . Teams are formed and compete in the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA) against other regional club teams. Tournaments are played throughout the region, from San Diego to Los Angeles. The SCVA season runs from January through June.

Club Program

SCVC Los Cab has two categories for our Club Program: Travel and Non-Travel Teams.

Travel Teams:  14Roxy and 13Roxy*

These are our highest level teams, from a talent, commitment and financial standpoint. The teams practice 3 times a week, play in 2-3 SCVA Qualifying Tournaments, 5 SCVA Mandatory Tournaments, a 2 day Regional Tournament, a 3 day Junior Olympic Qualifying Tournament, and an end of the year tournament for the 2011/2012 season;
that tournament will either be Junior Olympics if we qualify, if not AAU's  or Festival in Phoenix, AZ, TBD.

Tryouts: Early October / Practices: 3 per week / Season: November-July

 12Roxy*

This is our highest level  12's team, from a talent, commitment and financial standpoint. The 12Roxy team will practice 2 times a week, play in 2-3 SCVA Qualifying Tournaments, 5 SCVA Mandatory Tournaments, a 2 day Regional Tournament, a 3 day Junior Olympic Qualifying Tournament, and an end of the year tournament for the 2011/2012 season;
that tournament will either be Junior Olympics or Festival in Phoenix, AZ.

Tryouts: Early October / Practices: 2 per week / Season: November-July

Non-Travel teams practice 2 times per week and play in 2-3 SCVA Qualifying Tournaments,
5 SCVA Mandatory Tournaments, and a 2-day Regional Tournament. These teams are still given the highest level coaching from the club.

Diggers Ages 8 thru 12

Regional teams practice 1 times per week, on either Saturday or Sunday.
This is a great program created to get your daughter started with club volleyball. The program is designed to help the beginning player develop the fundamental skills necessary to play volleyball at a competitive level. SCVC Los Cab coaches will run these sessions every week with a curriculum that builds on basic skills and techniques taught with the SCVC Los Cab systems used with our club teams. This program is a great way to encourage young athletes to progress and stay excited about learning volleyball without the major commitment necessary to play club. Diggers is a perfect blend of fun and learning for the new volleyball player. Compete in 3-4 SCVA Mandatory Tournaments. Includes uniform package
